Welcome to Solent Youth Musical Theatre
What SYMT is about
Hi and welcome to Solent Youth Musical Theatre. We have completed three performances and are just taking a break before planning our fourth ready for summer 2009. Our production team have years of experience in musical theatre in numerous different roles with lots of different groups. We decided to set up a musical theatre for young people in the area as we have seen the talent, the enthusiasm and the energy that they have for this sort of project. We have recognised the need for a fun, inexpensive and enjoyable venture for young people during the long summer break. We are proud to be able to offer them this opportunity.
SYMT is not about being the best at everything but about giving everybody the chance to have a go. Basically, we love doing this and we want you to as well, in whatever role you choose: be it onstage, in the band pit or behind the scenes!
So come and give it a go!
